Help Building a TimetableTo build your single or multiple timetable follow these seven easy steps. To find an explanation of the type of activities go to the bottom of the page. 1. Select the teaching period(s) - either Semester One, Semester Two 2. Select the campus location(s) - Sarawak (S) 3. Enter a full or partial unit of study code, which must be at least the first three characters, and/or enter part of a unit of study name. Click "Search".
4. Select the units of study offerings (subjects) you wish to view timetables for by holding down your Ctrl key and click with your mouse. Click "Add" to move the selected Modules across into the “Current Selection” box. The current selection will display all the units of study that you have chosen across all Schools. 5. To add more units of study with a different prefix (HIT, HET) to your current selection repeat steps 1 to 4. 6.You have the option to display ALL your activities or select activitytypes eg: Lecture, Tutorial, Lab, Practical etc by ticking the appropriate box. The system will only display activities that match the selected criteria. If ALL is selected then all scheduled activities for the units of study will be displayed.
7. You have the option to filter the displayed activities by the day of your choice and/or filter the activities displayed by the start time of the activities.
8. The last step is to select the format for your timetable. There are two options:
For both options you can find out more information about the units of study by clicking on the unit of study code. Activity Types Explained When you select some units of study you may see what appears to be a repeat of the activity eg Tutorial 1, Tutorial 2, Tutorial 3. These are not repeated activites but are indicating that you must attend each one, or at least one of every type. This can also apply to practicals, classes etc. The descriptions below give a general idea to how an activity may be presented but can vary from School to School delivery.
