Application Procedure for Sabahan & West Malaysian Students
 

Step 1
Fax or email students' academic qualifications to Swinburne Sarawak (Marketing & Communications Department) for initial approval.

Step 2
Once we receive your fax or email, we will reply within 3 working days. If your application is approved, you will need to submit the formal application, that is:


Student Application Form (signed & dated at the back by student and parent/guardian)
(Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader)
 
Passport size photos 7 copies (blue background)

Certified copies of the secondary and/or tertiary academic results, i.e. certificates, academic transcripts, etc. If your copies are not in English, please include an English translation
Syllabus of previous studies if seeking for exemptions/advance standing
If available, 1 set of photocopied passport (ALL PAGES including blank pages). Please ensure at least a one-year validity of your passport.
Certified copy of birth certificate
Certified copy of identity card

RM100 application fee in personal cheque / bank draft or direct bank-in payable to:
Swinburne Sarawak Sdn. Bhd
RHB Bank Berhad: 2-11016-00065829
Note: This is the only payment needed at this stage. All other fees to be paid will be notified later by Swinburne Sarawak to the applicant.
Courier all the above documents to the Marketing & Communications Department. Please make sure to send these documents to Swinburne Sarawak at least 3 weeks before the commencement of the program (Note: different programs have different commencement dates).

Step 3
Upon receiving these documents, Swinburne Sarawak will send you an acceptance package. This package includes:

Offer letter
Offer response and payment advice form
Course fee refund policy
Student's copy
Office copy
Accommodation booking form
Arrival services form
Immigration form Im.14

Step 4
To accept Swinburne Sarawak's offer, complete the following and return them to the Swinburne Marketing & Communications office:

Payment of fees (as stated in the Offer letter) payable to:
Swinburne Sarawak Sdn. Bhd. (personal cheque / bank draft)
RHB Bank Berhad: 2-11016-00065829 (direct bank-in)
Completed and signed Offer response and payment advice form
Completed Accommodation booking form (if applicable)
- Kindly take note that a deposit is required to book a room for both on-campus and off-campus hostel
Completed Arrival services form (if applicable)
- Airport pick-up is free of charge.
   However, students are to submit the form at least 3 working days prior to the arrival date.
Signed Immigration form Im.14 (only sign on it, the remaining sections will be completed by Swinburne Sarawak)
Any other outstanding documents in Step 2

Step 5
Once you arrive at Swinburne Sarawak, we will submit your passport to the Immigration Office for endorsement with a Student Pass.
