Wide career paths for biotechnology graduates, says Swinburne academic

KUCHING – Employment opportunities for graduates of biotechnology are not limited but in fact span several fields, said Associate Professor Dr Clem Kuek of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus.
Kuek, who was recently appointed to head the university’s science courses, said graduates in biotechnology are not biotechnologists in the manner that graduates from profession-based degrees become engineers, accountants or dentists.

Swinburne to hold pre-university open day on 15 and 16

KUCHING – SPM school leavers looking to further their studies will be happy to know that the Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus pre-university open day will be held on 15 and 16 March.

It will be held at the university’s campus in Jalan Simpang Tiga from 9:00am to 4:00pm on both days.
