About the course

Mechanical engineering deals with the design, manufacture and maintenance of machine components and systems from small domestic products to highly complex power generation, vehicle and aerospace systems. Mechanical engineers need to respond to a changing world dominated by advances in technology. The combination of broad engineering knowledge and detailed expertise that you will gain in specialist fields will enable you to harness these changes.
