This program is designed to prepare you for further studies in business-related fields such as accounting, finance, entrepreneurship and innovation, human resource management, international business, management and marketing. It will allow you to develop fundamental skills in communications, IT and mathematics, and introduce you to specialised business study areas such as economics, accounting and business.

The program provides a direct entry into Swinburne Sarawak degree programs for students who have completed SPM/'O' Levels or equivalent qualification.

It is a requirement by the Ministry of Higher Education that all Malaysian students studying in the Private Higher Education Institutions take the compulsory units (MPW) and pass as a prerequisite for the award of certificate, diploma and degree.
  

Malaysian students must take the MPW units in the Summer Term (January) of your Foundation year.


For students who have completed SPM/’O’ Levels or equivalent qualification, this program provides direct entry into Bachelor of Commerce degree program at the Sarawak campus.


With further studies, graduates will be equipped for careers in accounting, administration, e-commerce, human resources, international business, management, marketing, public relations, software development or system analysis, depending on the Bachelor’s program and major specialisation selected.
