This program is designed to prepare you for further studies in Art, Design and Media-related fields such as Communication Design, Industrial Design, Multimedia Design, Interior Design and Graphic Art. It will provide you with communication, IT and mathematics skills, and introduce you to the fundamentals of Design as it relates to a wide variety of disciplines.

Malaysian students are required by the Ministry of Higher Education to successfully complete the Compulsory Subjects (Mata Pelajaran Wajib) prior to graduation.
For students who have completed SPM/'O' Levels or equivalent qualification, this course provides direct entry into the Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Design) and Bachelor of Design (Graphic Design) at the Sarawak campus.
Students can also progress into Hawthorn pathways if they attain the requisite grades for Unlink and bachelor degree programs.
With further studies, graduates are equipped for careers in areas such as graphic design, multimedia design, film and television, interior design and industrial design.
A range of scholarships are available to local (Sarawakian, Sabahan
& West Malaysian) and International students either at commencement
or on the continuation of a program.
