Fee*

Duration

Intake

Malaysian students: RM10,300 per semester
International students: RM11,350 per semester

The duration of a full-time Masters by research is based entirely on the presentation of a major thesis to the satisfaction of the University's Higher Degrees Committee

-
*The indicative course fees shown here applies to students studying on-campus in Malaysia for the relevant year only. They are based on a standard study load per year. However, please note that fees are assessed according to a student's study load in each semester, and variation to study load will result in an adjustment to tuition fees. All fees are subject to annual review and may be adjusted.

Graduates who hold a bachelor degree and who have shown a high standard of academic achievement in that course may be admitted to candidature for the degree of Master of Science. The higher degree programs currently available require the presentation of a major thesis based on original research, investigation or development work providing that adequate facilities and supervision can be arranged.

Masters students generally undertake their formal and supervised research training. A major thesis is the sole form of assessment for this award. Candidates carry out a program of research, investigation or development involving the submission of a substantial major thesis embodying the results of that program and presented as a coherent whole work.
