Selina is a lecturer in Law. She obtained her LLM in international commercial law from Newcastle, UK, with her thesis entitled “Protecting the Rights of Developing Countries under the WTO’s Dispute Settlement System”. Prior to this, she studied in Melbourne for her LLB at Monash University and obtained a PostGradDip in Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Institute, Melbourne, which qualifies her as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia. Following her admission to the Victorian Bar in Australia, she returned to her hometown in Sibu to start her internship at a private practice and was subsequently admitted as a legal practitioner of the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak. Selina has professional experience in legal practice, covering contract, company, and family law. Her area of research is in dispute settlement system.
