Kuala Lumpur International Airport
Kuala Lumpur International Airport international and domestic terminals are located in separate buildings within the airport. Domestic arrivals and departures are located in the Main Building of the airport while international arrivals and departures are at the Satellite Building. KLIA is located about 45 minutes drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur.
International Arrivals
Your aircraft will land at the Satellite Building and you will have to take the aerotrain to the Main Building where the immigration counters and baggage collection are. The Main Building is also where you will board your flight to Kuching.
Kuching International Airport
If you have already fill in the arrival form which states your tome and date of arrival, a representative of the University will be on hand to drive you to the university.
If you have not made any arrangements for airport pickup, you can take a taxi.
Taxi fares from the airport to Swinburne Sarawak are in the range of RM20.00 to RM25.00 (USD6.00 – USD8.00).
There is a counter in the arrival hall at the airport where coupons are sold for taxi service. If you arrive after midnight, taxies are available outside the arrival corridor and you will need to pay a midnight fare surcharge, which is double the normal fare.
