Email Accounts

Current students (enrolled in a course and paid fees) are automatically allocated an email account.

Webmail Instructions

  • Swinburne Webmail can be accessed from within Swinburne University or through your own Internet Service Provider.
  • To access it, type the following URL into your web browser http://studentmail.swinburne.edu.my
  • You must be a current student to be able to login to the Swinburne Webmail service.

Login Details

Login: Your 7 digit Student ID number
Default Password: YYMMDD manner
Email Address: <studentID>@student.swin.edu.my

For example if your details are as follows:
Name: Paul Smyth
Student ID Number: 3228781
Date of Birth: 9th August, 1971.
Then your login information is:
Login: 3228781
Default Password: 710809
Your e-mail address: 3228781@studentmail.swinburne.edu.my
