What is Bibliographic software?

Bibliographic software allows you to organise your references and create bibliographies in hundreds of citation styles.

EndNote Web

EndNote Web is best suited to undergraduates and postgraduate by coursework students and Swinburne students involved in group work.

All students and staff are welcome to attend the EndNote Web training. You can view an online training video if you cannot attend a Swinburne training session

Your username will be your email address.
Your password must be 8 characters long and contain at least one letter, number and symbol.

Once connected, you can create your login by going to the page for the Web of Science and My Endnote Web database and register as a user for Web of Knowledge. EndNote Desktop

The library offers Endnote desktop to Swinburne honours, masters by research and doctoral students, and Swinburne staff. Bookings for Endnote Desktop are essential. These students and staff are eligible for EndNote Desktop training delivered by Library staff.

Endnote desktop training comprises 1 hands-on workshop session of 2 hours. Learn how to:

  • Manage your collected references
  • Create bibliographies in a variety of styles
  • Import records from Swinburne Library databases and other external sources
  • Use EndNote with Word (Cite-While-You-Write)

EndNote X4 (Windows) is available on CD-ROM from our library. Students can request the software on CD at our lending desk in the library. You can install the software on any computers that you are using in the course of your Swinburne-related research.
