Antecedents of Attitude towards Digital Learning Adoption among Civil Servants
The digital world is increasingly penetrating the education and skills territory, with technology gradually being used to deliver education, knowledge and skills in new and innovative ways with the implementation of digital learning. Digital learning is claimed to be an effective way to provide the public sector organisations with continuous learning opportunities. Digital learning is respectively still in the infant stage in Sarawak and there is no empirical research and investigation on determinants that influence adoption of digital learning. With limitation on research pertaining to digital adoption available in public sector context especially in Malaysia, this research aims to ascertain relationships of identified antecedents such as relative advantage, compatibility and complexity to attitude that influenced the digital learning adoption among civil servants. Aligned with the objectives of this research, this research used conceptual model derived based on decomposed theory of planned behavior and diffusion of innovation theory. This research employed quantitative approach for data collection and analysed. Finally, this thesis concludes by presenting findings of the research, implications and recommendations for future research.
