The SUTS Postgraduate Research StudentshipSwinburne Sarawak values research as one of its prime missions. It offers scholarships to help the very best join our postgraduate research community. Are you considering doing a Masters by research, or a PhD? The SUTS Postgraduate Research Studentship comprises a tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend for a maximum of 4 years for a PhD enrolment, and 2 years for a Masters enrolment. The stipend is currently worth RM1,000 per month. Studentship holders are required to contribute a maximum of 6 hours per week to teaching support within their Schools. There are 2 application rounds per year around March and October. A studentship can be applied for at the time an application is made for candidature in a masters or PhD program. The award is based on merit and past Swinburne enrolment: the CGPA, relevant experience including publications, and strong support from appropriate referees regarding research potential can all contribute to the determination of ranking for an award.
