Work Experience

Prior to joining Swinburne, Dr Lau Bee Theng was working at an IT college in Kuching for five years. During those years, she conducted various researches on signal processing, map-matching for car navigation systems, geographic information systems, information systems, spatial query retrieval and sketch based query retrieval. Various papers have been published in the national and international conferences and journals. She was involved in many government and private geographic information system based projects during her postgraduate studies.
