Extension of Student Pass

For continuing international students

Documents required:

  • Passport
  • Im.14 form (available at the International Student Centre counter)
  • Extension Pass Fee (please check student pass sticker on upper right hand corner)
  • Submission Process:
    • Submit passport and documents
    • Sign in Log Book
  • Collection Process:
    • Collect passport
    • Sign out Log Book

For continuing non-Sarawakian

Documents required:

  • Passport
  • Im.14 form (available at the International Student Centre counter)
  • Submission Process:
    • Submit passport and documents
    • Sign in Log Book
  • Collection Process:
    • Collect passport
    • Sign out Log Book

Submissions of passports are on Mondays & Tuesdays

Collection of passports are on Fridays

Transfer of Student Pass sticker to new passport

  • Old & new passport
  • Im.38 form (available at the International Student Centre counter)

Cancellation of Student Pass

Lost passport & how to apply for a special pass (while waiting for new passport)

Documents required:

  • Police Report
  • Im.14 form (available at the International Student Centre counter)
  • RM100 (for Special Pass)
  • Other supporting documents as per requested by Immigration

Passport Renewal / Replacement @ respective Embassy

  • Do contact your Embassy in Malaysia for documents required
  • Obtain a Student Confirmation letter from SC
  • Current passport
  • Submission of documents to Embassy by student

Insurance

Insurance Coverage

Outpatient treatment at panel clinics is limited to RM300 per annum

Inpatient treatment at panel hospitals is limited to RM15000 per annum

Out patient visitation to the specialist hospitals

Your insurance provider will no longer reimburse outpatient visits to specialist hospitals . Should you require outpatient treatment after the clinics' opening hours, you may go to specialist hospitals; however you will have to pay on your own.

However, this information is not limited to emergencies*.

*Emergency shall mean treatment needed in the event whereby immediate medical attention is required within twelve(12) hours for injury, illness or symptoms which are sudden and severe failing which will be life-threatening(eg. Accident and heart attack) or lead to significant deterioration of health.

Recognised Graduate Visa

The Skilled — Recognised Graduate visa (subclass 476) allows recent engineering graduates of eligible universities to gain up to 18 months of skilled work experience in occupations. It is a temporary visa.

You must be outside Australia when you apply for this visa and when the visa is decided, unless you are a New Zealand citizen who holds a Special Category visa (subclass 444).
