On-Campus Hostel

 

The University’s on-campus hostel is located along Jalan Simpang Tiga and can accommodate 422 students. Full-time international and outstation students are given priority to reside at the hostel. First year Foundation/Diploma/Degree students are encouraged to reside at the on-campus hostel. The on-campus hostels offer a conducive environment with 24-hour security and general supervision.

Fees:
Monthly rental
1. RM300 for twin-sharing with fan
2. RM450 twin-sharing with air-conditioning
3. RM500 for single room with fan
4. RM750 for a single room with air-conditioning
Monthly rental includes utilities.
Note: Students are required to pay in advance for the whole semester

The on-campus hostel provides a comfortable, safe and convenient accommodation for students. The hostel is only minutes away from the post office, banks, food courts and shopping areas:

APPLICATIONS
Applications for a place at the on-campus hostel are invited from any current or prospective Swinburne students. Applications from prospective students will be considered once the student has been granted admission into a study course at Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus).

 

 


OFFERS
Offers for Swinburne On-Campus Hostel will be made after the student has paid the deposit and rental for the semester. The offer is based on ‘first come first serve’ basis.

 

 


WARDEN
Hostel wardens appointed by the University are responsible for the general well-being of the hostels and residents. They are also responsible for disciplinary matters at the hostels.
