The Engineering block includes 44 laboratories and workshops for almost every area of engineering. This includes robotics laboratories, mechatronics system design labs, geotechnical labs, computer aided engineering labs, telecommunications labs, radio frequency labs, design and simulation labs, software research labs, fuid labs and workshop, machine workshop and so forth. About RM9 million has been set aside for the purchase of engineering equipment which will be carried out in stages.
