Unit information

Unit Learning Outcomes

After successfully completing this unit, you should be able to:

  1. Operate parametric 3D modelling tools and translate the design intent that will used in developing technical models
  2. Generate suitable BIM 3D models and use the model as tools of interaction, communication and collaboration
  3. Evaluate project constructability by using digital model and design results to improve construction efficiency
  4. Engage digital models to support construction process and plan cost, schedule and resources quantities
  5. Apply BIM-based technical modelling process flow to identify the associated challenges in adoption, implementation and ownership
