Students who successfully complete this unit should be able to:

  1. Appreciate fundamentals of legal processes related to construction management
  2. Identify and analyse legal risks related to construction process and project management aspects in construction industry
  3. Identify and apply suitable alternate dispute resolution mechanisms to resolve disputes in project based settings
  4. Negotiate contracts for a diverse range of construction projects
