Fluids/Main Workshop E005

The Fluids Laboratory is an open space laboratory and is used for both Civil and Mechanical Engineering degree students. The laboratory supports five units in the Degree level which includes HES2340 (Fluid Mechanics 1), HES5340 (Fluid Mechanics 2), HES2330 (Thermodynamics 1), HES4330 (Thermodynamics 2) and HES3132 (Design of Steel Structures). It is equipped with experiments for the study of Impact of Water Jet, Losses at Pipe Fittings, Computing Reynolds’s Number, Flow through a Venturi meter, Heat Engine Examination, Boyle`s Law and Steel Connection Tensile Test.
