FECS, SoFS brief Foundation Students on Degree Programs

The School of Foundation Studies (SoFS) was joined by the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and Science (FECS) staff at the school’s “Product briefing” to introduce engineering degree programs for foundation students, on 14 July.
 
Foundation engineering, science, information technology/multimedia course coordinator Hephi Liauw who moderated the session, thanked the panelists for their participation and said that the students were enthusiastic to learn more about the degree programs they could pursue in the near future.
 
The FECS staff who participated were Dr Chew Jiuan Jing (chemical engineering), Dr Victor Bong Nee Shin (mechanical engineering), Dr Choo Chung Siung and Dr Daniel Looi Ting Wee (civil engineering), Dr Chua Hong Siang (electrical and electronic engineering), Dr Hudy Siswoyo Jo (robotics and mechatronic engineering), Dr Xavier Chee (biotechnology), and Sim Kwan Hua (computer science, information, and communications technologies).
 
The product briefing session, held each semester, gives foundation students an opportunity to enquire on a range of engineering programs with experts in the field.

Su Sueh Ing, Head of the SoFS, was also present to welcome the FECS panelists and students.
