For application purposes, don’t forget to bring along the followings:

  • Your identification card and birth certificate (for Malaysians)
  • Your original passport (for International students)
  • Original certified copies of academic transcripts with grading system and English Language proficiency# – MUET, IELTS, TOEFL, SPM and/or 1119 for application into:
    • Foundation: SPM / GCE O-Level / UEC or equivalent qualification
    • Diploma: SPM / GCE O-Level / UEC or equivalent qualification
    • Degree: SPM / UEC /STPM / Foundation/ Diploma / GCE A Level or equivalent qualification (if you wish to apply for Credit Transfer or Prior Learning, please attach a detailed programme or unit (subject) syllabus)
    • Masters courses: Completion of an approved undergraduate qualification at a recognised university or college

#Students who have not satisfied the minimum requirement in English will be required to take a Swinburne Sarawak English Placement test. Students who do not meet the English entry requirement will be required to take up an English programme recommended by the University at their own cost.

Located in the heart of Kuching city, the 16.5 acres Swinburne Sarawak campus is equipped with modern facilities that meet the needs and demands of teaching and learning of our students and staff.

The university has commenced its first phase of campus upgrade in June 2019 with an estimated total cost of RM50 million to be invested in teaching and learning spaces, on-campus accommodation, cafeteria, student hub, and the main lobby of its Chancellery Building.

Getting to Swinburne in Kuching is easy. Flights from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau, as well as international flights from Brunei, Pontianak, Singapore and Shenzhen fly directly to Kuching on a regular basis.
