Biography
Dr. Damien Lee Iung Yau is currently teaching Accounting and Finance at the Faculty of Business and Design. Prior joining the education sector, Damien has gained 5 years industrial work experiences as an external auditor with an international auditing firm in Kuching and an audit firm in Singapore. The auditing works covered wide range of businesses, which includes trading, manufacturing, investment holding company, construction and other service companies. He was also seconded to consulting and tax department to performed consultancy and tax computation tasks. Before joining Swinburne, Mr Damien was also attached with a local college in Sarawak as a full-time lecturer in Accounting and Finance for about 5 years. He has taught various subjects such as financial reporting, costing, management accounting, Malaysian taxation and investment. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and is expected to complete in 2020.
