The Sarawak Free Tertiary Education Scheme (FTES) kicks off in 2026. Many of the students from the May intake will be among the first eligible cohorts. That means they will not be paying any tuition fees (for eligible programs) while at Swinburne Sarawak.
That also makes Swinburne not just affordable (because if you talk to enough people, you will find out why); it means this cohort already has in their hands quality Australian education, tuition fee-free.
Also, if your family’s per capita income is RM1,500 or below, you have also missed out on a RM15,000 yearly stipend that could have covered your living expenses.
