Biography

Dr. Shatha Abu Mahfouz is a lecturer in Human Resource Management (HRM) with a Ph.D. in HRM. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with honors. Dr. Abu Mahfouz has been an active member of various research teams at her university and has presented her work at international academic conferences. She has published several research articles in reputable academic journals and conference proceedings, contributing significantly to the fields of HRM and business. In addition to her research, Dr. Abu Mahfouz is committed to teaching and supervising student research projects and internships. She has served as the coordinator for her faculty’s postgraduate degree programs and as a member of her university’s Research Degrees Committee.
   

Research Interests

I am deeply interested in various aspects of business management, including human resource management, leadership styles, organizational behaviour, strategic management, IT management, knowledge management, management information systems, and digital transformation. I focus on digital transformation applications, such as AI, big data analysis, cloud computing, Internet of Things, and others, particularly in the context of experiential learning in the classroom. My goal is to enhance student engagement and practical knowledge through these technologies.

As a lecturer, I aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice, aligning my research interests with the needs of students and the broader academic environment. I believe my research can contribute to a dynamic teaching experience, where personal practice and professional engagement complement each other, fostering a rich learning environment for students.

I am confident that the academic resources and feedback available in this environment will help me excel both as a researcher and lecturer, continuously improving the quality of the learning experiences I provide.
