1 Day CIDB BIM Module Training: BIM Concept & Theory

MyBIM Malaysia, a partner of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak is a training centre developed by the Construction Industry Development Board to transform the construction industry into a modern and highly-skilled industry. The Centre enables construction industry players to model and visualises building projects in a simulated environment using BIM – a modelling technology to produce, communicate and analyse digital information models for the construction project’s life cycle.

Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance – “1-Day BIM Proficiency Training: BIM Concept & Theory” from myBIM Malaysia.

Why You Should Attend This Course:

This module is specifically designed for the individuals or organisations that are involved in the construction industry and keen to explore new technology with the aim to bring awareness of the recent developments in Building Information Modelling (BIM). The programs explain and discusses BIM concept and theory, its benefits to the organisations, challenges and opportunities, case studies and the implementation. The participants will be able to discuss the impact of BIM deployment on their organisations, e.g. on their work practices, contracts, IT infrastructure and skill development.

This module is the pre-requisite for all advanced modules provided by myBIM, including Fundamental Modelling of Architecture / Structure, BIM Coordinator and BIM Manager.
