Yes. The Malaysia Government announced that those who intend to go to public areas are required to wear a face covering /face mask when leaving their home.
Swinburne Sarawak will NOT be providing disposable face masks for students who are on campus for approved essential activities.

Temperature checking is a tool to help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 infections on campus by keeping our campus community safe during the current level of community transmission.
Temperature checking is mandatory for all staff, students, and visitors coming to the campus for approved essential activities.
Staff, students and visitors are to proceed to any of the temperature checking stations located at Building A, E, G and the Multipurpose Hall, to have their temperature checked and to receive coloured sticker.

A coloured sticker will be issued to those whose temperature is less than 37.5 degree Celsius. This sticker is to be displayed prominently at all times.
Those with temperature 37.5 degree Celsius or higher will be asked to leave the campus, and to seek medical assistance.
