Yes, you are required to wear a face mask when in public places. At Swinburne, we encourage our staff and all visitors to practice double masking.

Temperature checking is a tool to help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 infections on campus. Swinburne is committed to keeping our campus community safe at all times.
Temperature checking is mandatory for all staff, students, and visitors coming to the campus for approved essential activities.
Staff, students and visitors are required to have their temperature checked and to scan the MySejahtera QR code at the Screening Station of the buildings before they can be allowed into the premises.
Temperature checks are mandatory and any person who does not comply will be asked to leave the campus.
Screening stations are located at Building A, E, G and the Multipurpose Hall. Please do not attend class if you are unwell, and do observe all SOPs.
You will be asked to scan MySejahtera QR code and have your temperature taken.
Your temperature would need to be less than 37.5 degrees Celsius before you are allowed into the building. A coloured sticker will be issued to you. Please have the sticker displayed prominently on yourself at all times.
Those with temperature 37.5 degree Celsius or higher will be asked to rescan their body temperature after 5 minutes. Should your temperature remains at 37.5 degree Celcius and above, you will be asked to leave the campus, and to seek medical assistance.
