2-Day Google Ads Fundamentals Certification Workshop


Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak is pleased to offer the first 2-Day Google Ads Fundamentals Certification (official Google syllabus and conducted by certified regional Google trainer) in Kuching, Sarawak. The intake in February 2019 of this world-class executive training programme is now open for registration. Seats are limited.

ClickAcademy Asia (CAA), a partner of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak will be delivering this Google Ads Fundamentals Certification course. CAA is a leading regional digital marketing training provider and an official Google Partner Academy in Singapore and Malaysia.

This course fee is fully HRDF claimable. The programme is designed to give you a good foundation, better understanding and learn the best practices of Google Ads Fundamentals. You will be guided through a mix of presentations, case studies, practice techniques, class discussions and role play activities.

At the end of Day 2, participants will be prepared to undertake the Google Ads Fundamentals Certification Exam (90 minutes).

  • Google Ads Fundamentals Certification Exam is an exam offered by Google to prove that an individual has mastered Google advertising and stay up to date on Google’s best practices.

Upon completion, you will receive two certificates:

  • Certificate of Competency – “2-Day Google Ads Fundamentals Certification” from Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak and ClickAcademy Asia
  • Certificate of Google Ads Fundamentals Certification from Google upon completion and passing of the exam on Day 2

The 2-day Google Ads Fundamentals is a comprehensive Google Ads course that covers topics from basic setup and configuration, to keyword list optimization and conversion optimization.

The Google Ads Fundamentals course covers AdWords 101 on Day 1, and AdWords 201 on Day 2. Participants will take the Google Ads Fundamentals Certification Exam at the end of Day 2.

Google Ads 101 lays the groundwork for a successful search engine marketing (SEM) campaign. It equips participants (even those who are just getting started) with a better understanding on how the Google Ads system works, how campaigns should be structured, and how keyword lists and ads are developed. It also explains analytics, conversion tracking, advertising options and billing cycle.

Google Ads 202 expands on the 101 class by explaining how to optimise the campaigns for maximum performance. It also introduces the Google Display Network (GDN) to expand your campaign beyond search. Participants will also learn how to use My Client Center (MCC) to manage multiple AdWords account.

At the end of this course, participants will undertake a 2-hour Google Ads Fundamentals certification exam.

Note: Participants are required to bring their own laptop for hands on exercises and online exam
