Swinburne’s Digital Media Design diploma prepares students to be media professionals for the world’s digital future. Our diploma course aims to equip students with hands-on digital media design skills and knowledge required by the creative industries.

Graduates will learn to produce interactive and rich media content for web, mobile, new media, digital games and interactive applications.

Upon the completion of the course, you’ll be technically competent, having possess diversity of thought and exploration, and adapt well to interdisciplinary approaches where you will create a culture of risk-taking, problem-solving and team-building.

To qualify for the Diploma of Digital Media Design, students must complete 225 credit points comprising:

  • 4 core units of study (50 credit points)
  • 14 specialisation units (175 credit points)
  • 1 non- credit unit.

Entry Requirements

  • A pass in SPM with Credit in any 3 subjects or any equivalent qualification, or
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.0) in any subject or any equivalent qualification, or
  • A pass in UEC with at least 3B’s or any equivalent qualification, and
  • A pass in an interview or submission of student portfolio.
