The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) recently named Swinburne’s academic, Dr. Yiin Chung Loong as one of the finalists for the Young Researcher Award and Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak (SUTS) IChemE Student Chapter for the Student Chapter Award in IChemE Malaysia Awards 2019, a prestigious event which recognizes excellence in the fields of Chemical Engineering.
A total of 40 finalist entries are in with a chance of winning a trophy for excellence and innovation in chemical, biochemical and process engineering at the IChemE Malaysia Awards 2019. The winners will be presented with their awards on 14 October 2019 at the Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur. “We are honored to be recognized for our researcher’s capacity and Student Chapter’s passion for chemical engineering and professional development,” said Dr. Chew, Discipline Leader of Chemical Engineering and adviser of SUTS IChemE Student Chapter.
