Wireless Technology – eduroam Access
Effective 11 February 2026, all students and staff must use the geteduroam app to connect to the eduroam Wi-Fi network. This new system delivers enhanced security and a more reliable connection experience across all your devices.
Visitors from other eduroam-participating institutions can continue to connect using their home institution’s credentials.
What is eduroam?
eduroam (education roaming) is a secure global Wi-Fi service that enables students, researchers, and staff from participating institutions worldwide to access wireless networks using their home institution’s login credentials—whether on campus or when visiting other member institutions.
How to Connect to eduroam
1. Install the geteduroam App
The geteduroam app automatically configures your device with the correct security settings. Download the geteduroam app from your device’s app store or visit the geteduroam website. Refer to the user guide for detailed instructions.
2: Sign In with Your Credentials
When prompted by the app, enter your login username (e.g., [email protected]) and password.
The app will complete the setup automatically. Once configured, your device will connect to eduroam whenever the network is available.
