Swinburne ranks as top 450 university in QS World University Rankings

Swinburne has ranked in the top 450 universities in the world by QS World University Rankings, rising almost 60 places in the past year.

Earlier this year, the QS World University Rankings by Subject recognised Swinburne as having one of the best design schools in the world.

Ranked at number 32 for Art and Design, Swinburne is one of only three institutions in Melbourne to be listed in the top 50 for this subject.

Each year the QS World University rankings consider more than 3000 universities around the world with the top 800 ranked according to six key performance indicators.

The rankings are designed to assess universities in four areas: research, teaching, employability and internationalisation.

In 2015, Swinburne proudly debuted in the QS rankings for the world’s top universities under the age of 50 and also featured in the top 200 universities for the QS Graduate Employability Rankings.
