Top performers can score a full scholarship at Swinburne Sarawak

KUCHING – Top-achieving students who enrol in an undergraduate programme at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus could receive a 100% fee waiver through the Pro-Chancellor Excellence Full Scholarship.

To be eligible for this full scholarship, students would need to achieve either 4As in their STPM/A Level, 7As in their UEC, a CGPA of 4.00 in their Swinburne Foundation studies, or equivalent.

Kevin Wee Liang Siang, one of the students who were awarded the Pro-Chancellor Excellence Full Scholarship, said he felt happy and excited upon receiving the full scholarship. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil).

“I feel grateful that Swinburne Sarawak chose me as a recipient of this scholarship. I am also thankful for my friends and family who are constantly supporting me. The application process for the scholarship was relatively simple. However, to meet the requirements, a lot of hard work and effort had to be put in while I was undergoing my Foundation programme,” he said.

Another full scholarship recipient, Hii Wang Cheong, similarly expressed his excitement and gratitude in receiving the full scholarship, describing this as akin to affirmation from the university.
