Welcome to Swinburne Sarawak’s Info Day on 6 July

KUCHING – SPM and STPM school leavers interested to pursue their studies at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus will be able to enrol on courses at the university’s Info Day on 6 July.

The intake for foundation studies is 22 July while degree and diploma courses start on 10 September.

Starting from 10am to 5pm, Info Day will feature activities including a short talk by senior academics on career pathways for each discipline of study. Swinburne Sarawak offers courses in the field of business, computing, design, engineering and science as well as English language.

Linking the courses to career outcomes, the 11am to 12pm talk is intended to help parents and their children make better informed decisions on the choice of study.

Visitors to the event may also consult the respective faculty booths on courses that interest them.

Those who are keen to apply for a course of study are advised to bring along their SPM or STPM result slips and IC. No fees will be imposed for applications made during the event and those who meet the entry requirements will receive a letter of offer on the same day.

For those who have yet to decide on their career path, they may take a quick personality test. Based on the result, trained counsellors will offer guidance and advice on suitable disciplines.

Information on scholarships and financial aid may also be obtained from the appropriate booth while a tour of the campus is available upon request.

Apart from diploma, foundation and degree courses, Swinburne Sarawak also offers postgraduate courses. Its MA (TESOL) starts on 9 September while the intake for its MBA (International) program is 29 July. Graduates who are interested may consult with senior academics on these courses during Info Day.
