The 4th i-CoME (International Conference on Management and Entrepreneurship) to be postponed

This is a conference announcement, which was eventually postponed. 

Digitalization in the 21st century continues to influence how organisations and businesses function and process. However, success in digitalization requires continuous co-operation, empowerment, and planning. Over the years, we have seen changes in digitalizing and empowerment in not just businesses, but also in the workplace. Such digitalization and empowerment are becoming more important where it continues to drive businesses to go global. It also increased the speed of business innovation and transformation, while offering new knowledge and stronger insights into how businesses function and operate in a globalised market.

The Business Management Program and Jurnal Manajemen dan Kewirausahaan – JMK (Journal of Management and Entrepreneurship) of Petra Christian University, Surabaya Indonesia in cooperation with the School of Business of Faculty of Business, Design and Arts, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus, Sarawak Malaysia will be hosting the fourth international conference on management and entrepreneurship (4th i-CoME) 2020. This conference is made possible with the support of several accredited journals (SCOPUS, ESCI, among many). The conference will present six keynote speakers from six different countries: Australia, USA, UK-China, Malaysia, and Pakistan.

This conference is also calling for research articles and papers from scholars, researchers, and students from all over the world. There are six sub-themes with various topics covering management and entrepreneurships topics. The conference will be a forum where fellow academics share experiences, exchange knowledge, work hand-in-hand, and find managerial and entrepreneurial solutions for a better business world. Objectives:
The objectives of i-CoME (International Conference on Management and Entrepreneurship) are:

  • To become scholar’s forum to discuss a recent scholarly work
  • To become scholars’ forum where scholars from all over the world can gather and network
  • To discover new findings that can benefit the business management and entrepreneurship world

Key Audience

The broad target audience will be particularly focused on scholars within the Asia Pacific region. With a significant community of scholars with the management and entrepreneurship field from various both Indonesia and Malaysia, it is anticipated a significant number of participants will come from these countries. It is also anticipated that leading scholars on management and entrepreneurship from western based countries such as USA, UK and Australia are likely to come given the topic domain and location of the conference.

Conference organisers will also emphasise on attracting industry representatives from various corporations and stakeholders across Malaysia. These corporations and stakeholders are likely to be attracted by the practical and private sector focus of the conference.

Key Outcomes
This conference proposes the following two key outcomes:

  • Publications in several indexed journals (International Journal of Business and Society, Gadjah Mada International Journal of Business, among many).
  • Indexed conference proceeding, detailing all abstract and key themes covered.
