Social Media Co-Major/Minor Info Session with Dr Bertha Chin
One third of the world’s population uses social media. It is becoming central to our personal, social, cultural and commercial life; and we are increasingly required to know how to use and navigate around social media successfully. Swinburne Sarawak is offering a Social Media co-major and/or minor starting from Semester 2, 2017.
Venue: L001 (Lecture Theatre)
Time: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dr Bertha Chin will be conducting an Info Session on Wednesday, 7 June at L001 (Lecture Theatre) from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. to offer more information on the units, potential career paths and benefits of studying social media. The Info Session is open to all interested students who are studying a bachelor’s degree, or any research students who are interested in social media in general. The units for this programme are also eligible to be taken as Electives.
*Please note that Engineering, and Accounting and Finance students are unable to take a co-major nor a minor in their programme. Students studying either a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or Bachelor of Business (Finance) are eligible to take a minor and a co-major or 2 minors respectively
