A yearly Swinburne Research and Innovation Conference will be held in Melbourne where researchers from both campuses can present their work to potential stakeholders and the industry

Researchers will continue building synergy between the Swinburne campuses in Melbourne and Kuching to become one Swinburne Research-

This was the main message which was shared between Swinburne Melbourne and Swinburne Sarawak researchers during the two-day Research and Innovation Strategy Planning Workshop which was held on the Sarawak Campus.

Key executive team members and directors from Melbourne included the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Development, Prof Aleksandar Subic, Pro Vice-Chancellor International Research Engagement Prof Ajay Kapoor, and Pro Vice-Chancellor Graduate Research and Research Training Prof Bernadine van Gramberg.

Research collaborators across the two campuses also presented their research to the rest of the campus, and strategised how to team uo their expertise areas to achieve the aims of Swinburne 2020 Research Strategy.  

It was recognised that in research it is people who are important and Swinburne will continue to invest in its researchers.
