Ching Yi is the Academic Coordinator of School of Foundation Studies in Swinburne Sarawak.
She is part of the team of the ‘Digital Technologies Seniors Program (DTSP)’. DTSP is a community program with Foundation Rolf Schnyder aimed to empower, mentor and couch Seniors in Technology. In less than 3 months after it was officially launched in November 2021, DTSP has impacted more than 3000 seniors worldwide. She had won an internal grant for DTSP.
Apart from the Seniors, Ching Yi is also passionate with Youth’s mental wellness and children safety. Ching Yi is the pioneer advisor of Social Club in Swinburne Sarawak, which was formed in March 2020 during the first Movement Control Order (MCO). This club has been very active since then. Within 1 year, the club recruited 200 active members.
Ching Yi was also the mentor for Foundation students for one Nationwide competition (NMC 2021) and one International competition (MathStory) in 2021. One of the group won Second Prize in MathStory 2021.
