Dr. Chai Nee Ping received her BEng (Hons) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). She then pursued a Direct PhD at UNIMAS and completed her doctorate in Electronics Engineering in 2018.
From 2023 to 2025, she was a robotics and coding teacher and supervisor at Futurum Academy in Singapore, where she gained extensive experience in STEM education. During this time, she led a team of three students representing Singapore at the world’s largest robotics competition in the USA in 2024. Committed to advancing STEM in Sarawak and aligning with the state’s vision, she joined Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak as a lecturer (Education Specialist). With over 20 years of teaching experience, Dr. Chai is dedicated to guiding Swinburne students to achieve international recognition.
