Biography

Dr. Ali Faridzad is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the School of Business, Faculty of Business, Design, and Arts at Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. He holds a PhD in Economics, specializing in Energy Markets and Finance, and has made significant contributions to the academic community through his expertise in economics and finance. In addition to his PhD, he holds a Graduate Certificate in Data Science, which enhances his analytical approach to economic research and modeling.

His academic journey also includes a Master’s degree in Economic Development and Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, providing him with a strong foundation in economic theory, policy analysis, and economic planning. Over the past 10 years, he has held academic positions at several prestigious universities, where he has played a vital role in research, teaching, and curriculum development.
