Biography

Lorna Siew Ling Liew received her Bachelor of Economics with Honours in International Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University Malaysia Sarawak in 2010. She received her Master of Science and Ph.D. in Economics from the same institution in 2013 and 2018 respectively.

Dr. Lorna joined the School of Foundation Studies, Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus) (SFS) as a Lecturer in 2023. Prior to joining Swinburne Sarawak, she was engaged with several tertiary institutions as a lecturer in teaching Economics-related subjects and she held leadership positions including programme coordinator and head of research and postgraduate studies.
