Biography

Sheena Punai Philimon received her BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering and MEng in Electrical Engineering in 2014 and 2016, respectively. In 2020, she received her PhD in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). Her PhD research focused on the development of a laser speckle integrated multispectral imaging system for non-invasive assessment of diabetic wound healing, approved by the National Medical Research Register (NMRR), Ministry of Health Malaysia. Sheena joined the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak in 2020.

To date, she has published a number of ISI and SCOPUS indexed articles in the field of medical image and signal processing. She is also a certified Cisco CCNA instructor.
