Biography

Ir. Dr. Yeu Yee Lee (Elaine) is the Head of the Learning and Teaching Unit at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus. In this role, she supports academic quality and learning and teaching initiatives across the university, working closely with faculties to enhance teaching practices, assessment processes, and student learning experiences.

Prior to her current appointment, Dr Yeu served as Associate Dean (Academic Practice), where she supported faculty-level learning and teaching activities, staff development, and student academic support initiatives. She has also held the role of Industrial Placement Coordinator, overseeing engineering students’ work-integrated learning and supporting industry partnerships.

Dr Yeu holds a PhD in Engineering and a Graduate Certificate of Teaching and Learning from Swinburne University of Technology. She is a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia, a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, and an APEC Engineer.

She has over 15 years of teaching experience in chemical and mechanical engineering, including foundation programs. Her academic work includes curriculum development, assessment and moderation, accreditation activities, and teaching enhancement initiatives. Her work reflects a strong commitment to inclusive learning, academic quality, and student success.
