Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. KUOK KING KUOK is a senior lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus. He received his MEng from UNIMAS in 2004 and Ph.D. from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2010. His current h-index and i10-index is 11 and 14, respectively, with more than 400 citations. He has published more than 50 indexed journal research papers, more than 25 conference proceedings and 9 book chapters. His research works are including flood forecasting using Artificial Neural Networks models, imputation of missing data using novel neural networks and machine learning algorithms, the impact of climate change to future rainfall intensity frequency duration curves using statistical method, derivation of equatorial soil loss equation especially for tropical region, low impact development, sustainable water supply, wastewater treatment system, design of stormwater module as detention drain, etc. His second area of research interest is in building information modelling, 3D printing and project management. He has a number of collaborations throughout the world (e.g., Australia, New Zealand, Russia, UAE, the Czech Republic, Bangladesh, and Malaysia). Dr Kuok had involved in organising 11 conferences as different roles. He is also member of Editorial Board of the Journal Modern Management Forum, Singapore since 2019, Expert Scientific Editor for Academic Exchange Information Center (AEIC) since 2021. He is also Professional Technologist registered with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and qualified Chartered Professional Engineer in Malaysia, ASEAN, and APEC countries. Meanwhile, Kelvin has ten years industry experience before joining academic career.
