M. R. M. Julaihi received his BEng (Hons) in Materials Engineering from the Department of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia in 2008. He received his MEng and Ph.D. from Hokkaido University, Japan in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Dr. Rafiq joined the School of Engineering, Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus) (SUTS) as a Lecturer in the same 2016

His research interests include synthesis of nanoparticles using liquid plasma and applications of nanoparticles in solar cells and environmental remediation.
