Ronald Jackson was born in Sarawak, Malaysia in 1991. He obtained his B.Eng. (Hons) and M.Eng. from University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Currently, he is pursuing a doctorate with UTHM. He has more than five years of tertiary teaching experience, particularly in electrical machines, power electronics, and control systems. In June 2025, he joined the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and Science at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus as a lecturer.
His current research interests include power generation through renewable energy, the application of AC and DC machines, advanced power electronics, microgrid networks, and smart grid regulation for inverter-grid operation.
