General Criteria | MELOLISA Foundation, a charitable organisation, is actively involved in benevolent activities in Malaysia. The 2020 MELOLISA Foundation Scholarship is awarded TO DESERVING Malaysian students to pursue their bachelor degrees at Swinburne Sarawak. |
Value of Award | The award value shall be up to 75% of the tuition fee. However, the awarded amount of scholarship shall be at the discretion of MELOLISA Foundation and may be reviewed on a yearly basis. |

Criteria |
In addition to the financial standing and academic achievements of the applicant, the organisation will also take into consideration the following:
It is compulsory for the recipient of the scholarship to attend and graduate from the course at an Outward Bound School identified by the MELOLISA Foundation before the final year of his/her degree programme, unless waiver is given by the MELOLISA Foundation. The fee for participation shall be sponsored by MELOLISA Foundation whereas the transportation cost to the outward bound school shall be borne by the individual scholarship recipients respectively. |
How to apply |
The scholarship award recipient shall be bonded to work with MELOLISA Foundation, its associated or related companies and/or with the University, for a duration of three to four years, depending on the length of the course, unless he/she is released from this condition. The MELOLISA Foundation shall have a three-month option to employ the scholarship recipient after his/ her graduation. All scholarship award recipients must study fulltime throughout the scholarship period. The foundation is not obligated to award the scholarship if there is no suitable and qualified candidate for the year. |
Closing Date | The closing date for application for the MELOLISA Foundation Scholarship is on 9 October 2020. Applicants may apply for the scholarship as soon they receive a Letter of Offer for enrolment from the University. |

Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (“KLK”) is a company incorporated in Malaysia and listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with a market capitalisation of approximately RM24.931 billion at the end of September 2019.
Yayasan KLK, a foundation established by KLK, offers scholarships to high-achieving young Malaysians who are studying or have gained a place at any Malaysian institutions of higher learning. Upon graduation, scholars may be offered the opportunity to work in KLK or its business units.
While undergoing tertiary education, scholars’ academic performance is monitored and they are expected to undergo practical training within the Group. Such monitoring is necessary as it ensures only the best talents are subsequently recruited to continue the Group’s tradition of leadership excellence.
