Three Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus academics were recently awarded for their contribution to the community.

On 21 Oct and 04 Nov 2015, 90 Bachelor of Business students visited Trans-Ocean Coatings & Chemical Sdn. Bhd., Kuching. The trips were organized by Miss Ki Yen Ping, a faculty member who specializes in the area of Human Resource Management.

On 11 and 18 November 2015, 88 students who were enrolled in ACC30005 Taxation at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus participated in a field trip to Kuching Port Authority (KPA) and The Royal Malaysian Customs Department Sarawak (RMCD)’s Pending and Senari terminals.

On 2 April 2016, 25 Bachelor of Business students, taking Industry Consulting Project unit visited Gunung Gading. Dr.George Ngui and Ms Lily Dublin (lecturers for the unit) organized this trip.

On 20 April 2016, 107 Bachelor of Business students, taking Taxation unit visited Kuching International Airport. Dr. Ling Chui Ching, a faculty member who specializes in the area of Taxation, organized this trip.

Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus recently welcomed a delegation from the Malaysian Higher Education Institutions Quality Assurance Network (MyQAN).
