Swinburne Sarawak to hold Application Week

KUCHING – Students who have completed SPM, STPM, UEC or ‘A’ Level but have yet to enrol with any institutions for further studies will be pleased to know that Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus will hold an ‘Application Week’ from Monday to Saturday (14 to 19 June, 2010).

During this period, those interested in the university’s range of commerce/business, engineering, science, design and computing courses may make enquiries at the campus from 8.30am to 5.30pm.

To cater to more students and their parents, the university will also open from 9am to 4pm on Saturday (19 June, 2010).

Intake is 23 August for its diploma, foundation and degree programs as well as its Master of Management program.

During Application Week, those who meet the entry requirements for a course can look forward to receiving a letter of offer to study at Swinburne Sarawak on the spot.

The applicant will also be given a waiver on application fee during this period.

Applicants are therefore requested to bring along their identity card, birth certificate and result slip for assessment when they visit.

Yayasan Sarawak staff will also be present at the Sarawak campus throughout the week to provide information on scholarships and study loans.

Apart from the campus, applicants may also make obtain more details and apply through any authorised Swinburne Sarawak agents. In Sibu these are Academic Consultant Services and Global Educational Services; SMART Tuition Centre in Bintulu; and CT Academic Services and L&P Consultant Services in Miri.
