Parking

Parking spaces are available at the Multi-Storey Carpark and surrounding compound area which are able to
accommodate more than 700 cars and 80 motorcycles.

  • Operating hours: The system will operate 24 hours 7 days a week throughout the year.
  • All person must install Pay & Go app and SPAY app in their mobile phones.
  • Free admission for motorcycle and bicycle.
  • The University is not responsible for any damages or losses to vehicles parked within the campus parking lot.

Visitor Parking

  • Free for the first 30 minutes
  • 1st Hour RM1.00
  • Subsequent Hour RM1.00
  • Daily cap at RM6.00

Note: After payment exit within 30 minutes. New daily charge applies pass midnight.

Season Parking

  • The season pass fee is RM60 per vehicle, renewable and valid for 30 days only. 
  • Season passes also available for the duration of 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 150 days and 180 days. 
  • Only One (1) vehicle per season pass. Application for two or more vehicles is allowed and requires the use of separate application forms. 
  • Availability of parking bays on campus is on a first-come-first-serve basis except for those that have been reserved and allocated for management and VIPs.

Parking Rules

Any persons entering the campus should comply with traffic signages or warnings on campus including:

  • parking within marked bays; 
  • correct use of indicated Disabled Bays, Loading Bays, and visitor parking bays;
  • comply with No Parking signs and defined No Parking areas;
  • bicycles, motorcycles, and motor scooters are to park at designated parking bays and are not permitted to park at footpaths, walkways or loading bays;
  • comply with the University’s speed limit of 20km per hour unless otherwise stated

In the event of the non-availability of parking bays, vehicles are permitted to park perpendicular to parked vehicles, on the condition of the following:

  • Owner of a such vehicle must display their contact number on the vehicle’s dashboard
Failure to do so will result in the said vehicle being clamped, and a penalty imposed on the vehicle owner.

Any vehicle found with the following offenses will have its wheel clamped:

  • Parked in the handicapped spot
  • Parked on reserved spot
  • Double-parked at non-designated double-parking areas
  • Obstructing traffic flow
  • Obstructing emergency passages/exits

Wheel clamping is imposed at designated areas of the campus. Please take note of the signages/notices on display. A fine of RM100.00 and wheel clamping will be imposed on vehicles found to violate the notices. 

Payment of said fines can only be made through the SPAY Global app (Sarawak Pay).

Campus Services/security personnel will assist in unclamping the vehicle upon showing proof of payment of the fine via SPAY Global (Sarawak Pay).
